WHEREAS the municipality of Central Elgin began a strategic plan in 2022 with Ms. Jennifer Kirkham which was included in the 2022 budget with an upward limit of $9375+HST,

AND WHEREAS to date, the information gathering, survey preparation, and survey issuance has been completed,

AND WHEREAS no steps have been taken to finish this project since 16 January, 2023,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the council of the municipality of Central Elgin direct staff to resume the contracted strategic plan,

AND THAT members of council commit to participating in the necessary private interviews and group workshop sessions to aid in the strategic plan’s completion.
